Hey everyone, how do you usually tell the difference between normal undercarriage wear and something that’s a red flag? Are there specific signs you look for before it turns into a bigger (and expensive) problem? Would love to hear what checks or habits have saved you from major repairs.

Undercarriage repairs are definitely the biggest "wallet-drainer" on these machines, so catching stuff early is huge. One habit that saves thousands: Take five minutes every few days to dig out teh packed-in mud and rocks with a crowbar or a pressure washer. If that junk freezes or dries hard, it acts like sandpaper on your seals and bushings.
