Has anyone here had experience removing or replacing the front engine speed sensor on a 2008 Cat 320D?

Just wondering if there are any tricks, special tools, or steps that make the job easier. Would really appreciate any advice from those who've done it

Yeah, I've helped on one before. It's not the worst job, just a bit tight depending on access. The biggest tip is to clean the area first before you even try to remove the sensor - dirt can fall straight into the hole once it's out. Also, spray some penetrating oil and give it a few minutes if it feels stuck. Don't force it too hard because those sensors can snap.
