For those running Komatsu backhoes, where do you usually buy:

-OEM parts like filters, seals, injectors, and hydraulic components
-Wear items like bucket teeth, cutting edges, and stabilizer pads
-Bigger stuff like cylinders, control valves, or drivetrain parts

Do you mostly go through a local Komatsu dealer, or are aftermarket suppliers and online parts houses worth it?

Sourcing parts for a Komatsu (especially the WB series like the WB140 or WB156) is a bit different than sourcing for a Cat or Deere. Since Komatsu backhoes aren't as common on every street corner, you usually have to be a bit more strategic about where you shop.

It really depends on how much downtime you can afford! For the critical stuff like injectors and control valves, we usually stick with OEM from the local dealer to ensure the specs are dead-on
