What's the typical cost for scraper operator training?

i know pricing probably varies depending on location, training provider, and whether it's classroom-based or hands-on, but i'd love to hear what people here have actually paid or seen in the industry.

From what I've seen, it really depends on how deep the training goes.
Short scraper course (1-2 days): usually around $500-$1,000
Full heavy equipment programs: can go $5k-$15k+
If it's just a basic ticket with some seat time, it's on the cheaper side. But the longer, hands-on programs with multiple machines are where it gets pricey. Most guys I know just do a short course, then pick up the real skills on the job
