Hey everyone!
I'm looking to learn more about the different types of concrete machine mixers used in construction. What are the main types available, and how do they differ in terms of function and efficiency? Are certain mixers better suited for specific projects or concrete mixes?

Would love to hear insights from those with experience in the field!

There are quite a few types of concrete mixers out there, and the right one really depends on the job! The main types are drum mixers (like tilting and non-tilting models), pan mixers, and continuous mixers. Drum mixers are common for general construction, while pan mixers are great for more consistent mixes. If you’re dealing with large-scale projects, a continuous mixer might be the way to go. Are you looking for something for small batches or large-volume work?

Hi,
I’ve worked with drum mixers mostly, and they’re great for general construction, especially for medium-sized projects. The tilting models are handy for getting everything out easily.
For bigger batches or more consistent mixes, a pan mixer might be the way to go. Definitely depends on the scale and type of work you're doing!

If you're after volume, drum mixers are the go-to, but for precision and mix consistency, pan mixers win hands down—really comes down to what you're pouring and how often.

I've mostly used drum mixers too, but I’ve been eyeing a pan mixer for tighter mix control. Definitely feels like one of those “right tool for the job” situations!
