hi all, many contractors use dump trailers to move materials, haul debris, and reduce reliance on outside trucking services. Have dump trailers helped lower your hauling costs, and what strategies have worked best for maximizing their value on the jobsite?

For us, having a dump trailer has definitely saved money on smaller jobs. Being able to move material and haul debris ourselves means less waiting on outside trucks and more flexibility on the jobsite.

I agree for smaller jobs, but I'd argue the savings really depend on how often you use it. A dump trailer that's sitting in the yard most of the week isn't saving much either.
