Received a machine,Volvo L90G, and it's throwing a code - ISID:15-1.

Appears to be a regen issue but I'm not able to force a regen for some reason or get any readings. Anyone have some insights or ideas on how to troubleshoot?

Unsure. We had a tech out and he wasn't able to pull them. Initially didn't think it'd be a huge deal but didn't get it diagnosed before having to go to his next job. He suspect that codes might have been deleted? If that's the case it sounds like the dealer could be limited on the services they can provide - anyone know what that might limit me to?

That’s a tough one. If the codes were deleted, it might make troubleshooting trickier without the right diagnostic tool. Have you checked the DEF quality sensor or inspected the dosing valve for clogging? Sometimes a simple sensor issue can block regen from starting. Anyone else run into this with a Volvo L90G?

Yeah, if regen won’t kick in and codes aren’t showing, it’s often tied to a bad DEF quality sensor, clogged dosing valve, or even a temp sensor out of range. On the L90G, the system’s picky—low NOx conversion or temp not hitting regen threshold can stall the whole process. Might be worth checking wiring and connectors too—corrosion or loose pins can throw the system off.
