Curious about rouse: how does rental benchmarking actually work?

I've heard Rouse offers rental metric benchmarking, but I'm not exactly sure how it works. How do they compare your fleet and rental data to the industry? Anyone with experience, care to explain what insights you actually get?

The main value is confidence. Instead of guessing whether to expand your fleet or hike your prices, you get hard data on local demand to make the right call.

From what I’ve seen, it’s basically comparing your rates and utilization against similar fleets in your area, so you can spot if you’re underpricing or missing out on demand

That's a great question. From what I've seen, the real advantage of Rouse is that they pull actual transaction data from across the industry rather than just relying on 'list prices.' It lets you see exactly where your rental rates sit compared to the local market average. It definitely takes the guesswork out of fleet management, especially when you're trying to decide if it's time to cycle out older machines or double down on high-demand units.
