Can anyone give me an idea of what the average wage is for a compactor operator?

I'm trying to get a sense of what to expect if I start training or looking for work in this role. Do rates vary a lot by region or experience level?

Entry-level operators usually start lower, especially if you're still training,

In my area, guys with a few years under their belt usually make better than entry-level labor, and the top operators on big crews can command even more.

Yeah it definitely depends on experience and location.. but once you get good at it, you’re basically getting paid to drive in circles all day
