Best entry point in construction right now? Looking at Operator vs Estimator Roles

Hey guys, Ive been looking into construction jobs and trying to figure out the best path to start with. I'm torn between going into heavy equioment operation or trying out an estimator role. I like the idea of hands-on work, but the long-term growth in office roles also looks appealing. For those already in the field, which one worked out better for you? Just trying to make a smart move early. Any advice would help.
