Are takeuchi skid steers good?

THey're making a name for themselves slowly but surely, that's for sure. Not for an old timer like me, but my sons demo'd one then got a couple for their rental fleet. Most customers opt for the CAT or JD if it's available, but the boys say everyone who tries the Taks come back saying good things.

Definitely worth checking out. Sounds like they offer a pretty robust warranty option. And since they don't have the name recognition it seems like you can find a good deal on them either new or used. My boys genearlly know what they're talkin about so might be worth rolling the dice on. Might be like getting the toyota of skid steers.
 
I’ve heard the same, Takeuchi might not have the name recognition of CAT or Bobcat, but those who run them seem to love them. Solid build, smooth controls, and pretty durable from what I’ve seen. If you can get a good deal on one, definitely worth considering!
