Hi, is anyone here using GPS to track work hours, routes, and idle time? I’m curious about real-world tips like what data actually helps manage crews better, and what’s just noise. Do you find it saves money, improves accountability, or just adds another layer of reports to sift through? Would love to hear how you guys make GPS tracking practical on the job.

We started using GPS mostly to watch idle time and actual run hours, and that alone opened our eyes to where money was leaking. Once we ignored the extra dashboards and focused on just a few metrics, it became way more useful than overwhelming. Curious what platforms others are using and which reports they actually look at weekly.

GPS really pays off when you focus on idle time, route efficiency, and actual engine hours instead of drowning in every report
