Hey everyone, I'm looking into real-time data analytics software for monitoring heavy equipment performance - mainly for tracking fuel usage, idle time, and maintenance alerts. Has anyone here tried specific platforms that work well for mixed fleets? I'm curious which ones actually deliver...
hey, @BricklayerX , i've had good luck with radials for long-haul grading since they ride smoother and last longer, but bias tires grip better in rough, rocky spots. what kind of terrain are you working on most?
I’ve been running the DeWalt 20V for a while and it’s been great for occasional trimming, but I’ll admit the Greenworks 40V feels a bit lighter for longer jobs.
Anyone here tried the 60V DeWalt and noticed a real jump in performance?
Totally agree with you guys - a long warranty means nothing if the dealer disappears when you need help. I always read the fine print and ask straight up if labor and travel are included learned that the hard way once
totally agree .. i've seen some "too good to be true" deals ata uctions turn into expensive paperweights.
always check for legit parts support before bidding
hey! i' min texas too and had a good experience with mueller buildings - they're based here, have solid customer service, and offer a lot of customizable options. also worth checking out absolute steel and allied buildings.. both ship across the state and have decent reviews.
for sure... too much compaction can lead to drainage issues and even slab cracks later on. Clay especially hates being overworked. I usually stop once I hit target density and the machine starts riding stiff., any more and you’re just wasting fuel or risking problems
hey all,
Anyone here have experience with mini cold planers? I’m curious if they actually perform well for small patch jobs or if they’re more hype than help. Are they worth the investment, or do full-size machines still make more sense even for light work?
