Hey! I usually start by taking clear, well-lit photos and writing a detailed description with specs and condition. Pricing a bit below market helps attract buyers fast, and responding quickly to messages builds trust. Also, check similar listings to see what’s selling and how it’s presented...
Hey @George, beyond fluids, always check track tension, pins/bushings, grease points, and test all controls and safety switches, catching those early saves hoses, tracks, and headaches later.
Hey everyone, I've been working in the field for a while and I'm starting to think about moving into construction management. For those of you who've made the switch, what was the biggest challenge and how did you overcome it? Do you recommend getting extra certifications or is on-the-job...
honestly it comes down to what feels right in your hands.. Stihl low-end torque is great when you're deep in hardwood, but I’ve always liked how smooth and clean Husqvarna runs on long days
Dealer support is a dealbreaker for me andbeing able to grab parts quickly has saved me more than once
honestly I think you be crazy not to get on board with GPS and telematics these days. They’re not just fancy add-ons but they actually save serious money by cutting fuel waste, catching maintenance issues early, and making sure your machines aren’t just sitting around burning hours
run mostly Polar and Heil too, and they haveve taken a beating without giving me much grief. Id leanstainless if you’re after long-term durability, especially with rough roads or corrosive loads.
Totally agree with what’s been said, union’s great for steady pay and benefits, but non-union can move quicker and be less restrictive. Curious, has anyone made the switch mid-career and felt a big difference in job satisfaction?
Great info here! I’m also curious if anyone had to modify their warehouse layout or racking just to accommodate Class II narrow aisle trucks? Worth the space savings, or more trouble than it's worth?
Same here, using BIM on-site with tablets has made it way easier to spot issues early and keep everyone on the same page. Definitely helped us avoid some major headaches.
