I've dealt with a few dead T590s, and before trying to drag one onto a trailer, I always check the service manual for the proper track-release or drive-disengagement procedure. It takes a little extra time, but it's a lot better than risking damage to the drive motors.

I've done both, but I usually compare quotes first. Sometimes the dealer's shipping is surprisingly competitive, and other times finding your own carrier can save a decent amount.
