I ran into something similar on a John Deere 544H-boom was slow, but everything else worked fine. It wasn't the cylinders.
Since you've checked pilot pressure and resealed cylinders, here's where I'd look next:
- Main control valve (boom section): likely internal leakage or worn spool
- Load check/relief valve: could be stuck open, causing bypass
- Flow issue: good pressure doesn't always mean good flow
- Filters/suction screen: partial restriction can slow the boom first
In my case, it ended up being internal leakage in the boom valve section. Please test pressure/flow at the boom ports to confirm whether it's valve vs pump.
Is it slow both up and down or just one direction?
