Hey,

I've seen Terex backhoes, and I'm curious about who actually manufactures them these days. I’ve seen some around, but I heard they changed hands. Does anyone know the details? Please share some info. Thank you!

Hey Victor! Terex backhoes were originally made by Terex Corporation, but they sold their construction equipment division to a company called "Case Construction" back in 2016. So, now the Terex brand for backhoes is owned by Case, but you’ll still see Terex machines in operation under that name. It's kind of cool to see how these models have evolved, especially since they’re still reliable on job sites!

Yeah, it’s wild how many hands some of these machines pass through over the years. I remember running an older Terex backhoe a while back, tough machine, even if parts were a bit of a hunt sometimes. Anyone still using one regularly? Curious how they’re holding up compared to newer brands.

Hey, Victor Terex backhoes were built by Terex Corp until they sold the line to Fermec (later bought by Case/New Holland) in the mid-2010s, so newer ones trace back to CNH, but you’ll still spot plenty of the older Terex units working hard out there.
