When I shift into forward or reverse, the machine moves immediately unless I hold the brakes, and the transmission engages pretty hard instead of smoothly. My idle is set at 1,000 RPM, which is within the manual's spec, but I'm planning to lower it to 900 RPM to see if it helps. Has anyone experienced this or found another cause?
