I'm troubleshooting a John Deere 400D that suddenly quit on us. The truck cranks normally but will not start, and the emergency steering light keeps flashing. So far the engine cranks strong.
Why does my John Deere 400D crank but not start with the emergency steering light flashing?

I’d check the emergency steering system, fuel supply, and fault codes first.
