Why does my CAT machine have an intermittent no-crank problem?

My CAT machine sometimes won’t crank or start, but after sitting for a couple of days, it starts normally. The battery, wiring, fuses, and relays check out, while the diagnostic shows a camshaft sensor abnormality. Could the ECM, starter circuit, or another component be causing this intermittent no-crank issue?
