Hi everyone, I'm based in Texas and currently looking for prefabricated steel buildings for sale near me. I'm interested in something affordable that can be customized for a workshop or storage use. Ideally, I'd like to find a local supplier or a company that ships statewide with good reviews. Has anyone here bought a steel building kit or worked with a Texas-based supplier they'd recommend? I'd really appreciate any tips or leads-thanks in advance

hey! i' min texas too and had a good experience with mueller buildings - they're based here, have solid customer service, and offer a lot of customizable options. also worth checking out absolute steel and allied buildings.. both ship across the state and have decent reviews.

if you're in texas, you migth also want to check out rhino steel-they're based in denton and pretty well-reviewed for customizable prefab kits, plus they handle statewide shipping.

Good suggestions so far! has anyone compared install timelines or total cost (kit + slab + labor) between these suppliers? Curious how they stack up in the real world.

if you're in texas, you've got a lot of good options. i've seen people have solid experiences with texas-based metal building suppliers like mueller, lone star, and a few local dealers that customize kits based on wind load and permits. pricing can vary a lot depending on steel gauge and insulation, so it's worth getting a couple of quotes. also, check reviews about delivery timelines-some are great on price but slow on shipping. curious to hear what others here recommend too.
