I'm hoping someone here with experience on John Deere 750K dozers can point me in the right direction before I spend money on parts I may not need. My machine recently started showing a "right speed sensor unresponsive" warning on the display. The dozer still moves, but I'm trying to figure out whether this is usually caused by a failed speed sensor, damaged wiring harness, dirty connection, or possibly something deeper in the drive system.
I checked with Deere, and the OEM sensor is extremely expensive, plus they told me there's basically no return once the package is opened. I've also seen what appears to be the same part number online through Amazon and eBay sellers for much cheaper, but I'm unsure if aftermarket versions actually hold up on these machines.
