I'm troubleshooting a CAT 627E scraper where transmission oil is migrating into the differential housing. After draining the diff completely and refilling the transmission, oil immediately started flowing into the differential once the machine was started.
Trying to figure out if this is commonly caused by a failed transmission seal, torque converter seal, internal crossover, or another issue inside the drivetrain. Looking for advice from anyone familiar with CAT scraper transmission problems and oil transfer issues.
