I think the future of green building looks really promising. We're moving past just "energy-efficient" and into net-zero and even carbon-negative buildings that actually give back more than they take. Materials are also changing fast-things like cross-laminated timber, hempcrete, and even carbon-capturing concrete are starting to replace traditional high-emission options. On top of that, digital tools like BIM, IoT sensors, and even 3D printing are helping reduce waste and optimize energy use.
What excites me most is the human side though-designs that focus on natural light, clean air, and healthier spaces for people. Add in policies pushing for net-zero cities and the rise of green financing, and I think sustainable construction is going to become the default rather than the exception in the next couple of decade
