I know that some of you are also curious about the difference between an excavator and a trackhoe. Well, they are the same. Trackhoe is the slang name or a casual term.

Yup! Rackhoe is just a common nickname used on job sites. It doesn't matter which word you use since everyone in the industry knows they mean the same thing.
