What fluid should be used in the Power Flow system on an old Wabco 440H grader?

I'm trying to learn more about the torque converter system before I start using the machine heavily. I found a few manuals online, but none of them really explain the proper fluid level/check procedure.

It depends on the make and model, but most older machines are checked with the engine idling, transmission in neutral, and the oil at operating temperature. If you post the model and serial number, someone here should have the correct procedure.
