What could cause the right steering clutch to fail on a 1984 Fiat-Allis FD5 dozer?

I'm having trouble with the right steering clutch on my 1984 Fiat-Allis FD5 dozer. The machine doesn't steer properly to the right, and I'm trying to figure out what's causing the problem. Any troubleshooting tips or repair advice would be appreciated.

I'd start by checking the linkage adjustment and brake on that side before tearing into the steering clutch. Hopefully it's something simple, but I'd be interested to hear what you find once you get it apart.
