What could be causing my 1998 Caterpillar D4C dozer to bind and not move in 2nd or 3rd gear?

Having Caterpillar D4C dozer transmission problems? If the machine moves in 1st but binds in neutral and won’t shift properly into 2nd or 3rd, the transmission may need further inspection.
