Union vs Non-Union Construction Jobs: Which Pays More?

Hey everyone,

I’ve been thinking about whether to go union or non-union for my next construction job. I keep hearing mixed opinions about which pays better and offers more benefits. Does anyone have firsthand experience with both? How do the wages really compare, and are there other perks or downsides I should consider? Would love to hear what’s worked best for you!

I’ve worked both, and union definitely paid more with solid benefits, but a non-union gave me more flexibility and quicker job turnaround.
