hey folks, curious what you all think are the most overlooked safety checks before operating a lift? I feel like there are a few obvious ones people skip when they're in a rush. What small but critical checks do you always make sure to do?

Good question..I always double-check the ground conditions and look for overhead hazards. its eeasy to forget when you’re in a hurry, but can save a ton of trouble.

totally.... one I always catch people skipping is testing the emergency lowering system. Small check, but huge if things go sideways.

Honestly, I see folks skip checking tire pressure or wheel locks way too often-both can mess you up fast, especially on uneven ground. Also, not inspecting the harness anchor points is a silent killer. Little stuff, but big consequences.
