Hey everyone,

I’ve been hearing mixed opinions about LEED certification lately. With so many new sustainability standards and building tech out there, is LEED still worth pursuing in 2025? Curious what you all think—are clients still asking for it, or are there better alternatives now?

Absolutely still relevant! LEED’s not dead! It’s one of the most recognized green building standards globally, and many clients still ask for it, especially on commercial and government projects. While there are newer sustainability frameworks popping up, LEED carries major brand value and often helps with permitting, tax credits, and marketing. Bottom line: it still opens doors.

I agree with @Bobby n Bob. LEED is definitely still relevant, especially for larger projects. While there are other options out there, it’s still one of the most recognized certifications and can really help land those big contracts!

Totally agree about LEED still carries serious weight, especially when you're going after big commercial or public projects. Clients love the credibility, and it’s still a solid way to stand out in bids.

Totally agree with what’s been said about LEED might not be the only game in town anymore, but it’s still a strong credential, especially if you're working on public or high-profile commercial projects. Clients still recognize the value.

LEED still comes up a lot, especially on public and commercial jobs. It might not be the flashiest anymore, but it’s definitely still a big credibility booster when bidding or dealing with certain clients.
