Hey everyone,
Just saw the announcement for the redesigned 2027 1 Series compact utility tractors (John Deere 1E 23, John Deere 1M 25, and John Deere 1R 25), and it looks like Deere is really leaning into comfort, versatility, and tech this time around.
A few highlights that stood out:
Sounds great on paper, especially for property owners doing year-round work like mowing, landscaping, and snow removal but I’m curious how much of this is actually useful vs just added cost.
What do you guys think?
Would love to hear from anyone running current 1 Series units or planning to jump into these new ones

A few highlights that stood out:
- Factory-installed HVAC cab (finally, all-weather comfort)
- Improved ergonomics + tilt steering
- Easier attachment setup with integrated hydraulics
- LED lighting upgrades for low-light work
- Smart connector with real-time machine data via mobile app

What do you guys think?
- Is the HVAC cab a game changer or overkill for compact tractors?
- Do these tech upgrades (apps, sensors, connectivity) actually help day-to-day?
- Worth upgrading from older 1 Series models, or sticking with proven machines?
