How powerful are bulldozers?

Hey everyone,

How powerful are bulldozers compared to other heavy equipment? I know they’re built for pushing massive amounts of material, but what kind of horsepower and torque do they actually have?

Do bigger models handle tough terrain better, or is it more about blade size and weight? Also, how do they compare to excavators when it comes to raw pushing power? Just curious what makes them so dominant on job sites!

Great question, Tony! Bulldozers are like the bodybuilders of heavy equipment—some can crank out up to 1,000 horsepower, and they’ll push through pretty much anything you throw at them! Bigger models definitely handle tougher terrain better, but it’s a combo of horsepower, weight, and blade size that gives them that ‘don’t mess with me’ vibe. As for excavators, they might dig deep, but bulldozers can out-push them any day. They're like the heavyweight champs of pushing dirt around!
