How do you maintain compactors to ensure their optimal performance and longevity?

Been runnin’ compactors for a bit. i just do the basics—oil changes,clean filters,check the drum. how do y’all keep yours goin’? any tricks to avoid breakdowns?
 
Keep an eye on the drive system and make sure the hydraulic fluid is good. Also, giving the drum a quick clean after each use helps a lot.
 
Greasing the bearings and checking for loose bolts after a long day can help too, small things add up to keep it running smooth! Anyone have a preferred brand for hydraulic fluid?
