How do road reclaimers actually help extend the life of roads (efficiently and sustainably)?

I am on the sustainability side - how big a difference does reusing existing materials actually make in terms of waste reduction and overall project costs?

Yeah I've seen it cut haulin gand material costs a lot-curious though, have you noticed a big difference in long-term durability compared to full rebuilds?

Road reclaimers make a pretty big difference because they let crews recycle and stabilize the existing road material instead of hauling everything out and rebuilding from scratch.

From a sustainability perspective, the impact is significant. Reusing existing materials can drastically reduce construction waste and cut fuel consumption since fewer materials need to be hauled in and out of the site.

Road reclaimers make a huge difference by recycling the existing asphalt and base material instead of hauling them away and bringing in new aggregate. That means less waste, fewer truck trips, lower fuel use, and reduced emissions.
