How accurate are IAA condition reports and photos?

Hey everyone, how accurate have you found IAA condition reports and photos to be in real life? I know they give a decent overview, but I’m curious how often things show up worse (or better) than expected. Would love to hear any good or bad experiences before bidding.

IAA condition reports and photos are generally reliable for getting a solid overview of a vehicle'sc ondition, but they're not perfect. They reflect what was visible at inspection time, so hidden damage, mechanical issues, or post-inspection changes can still exist-best used as a guide, not a guarantee.
