Can I safely reuse a cracked lift cylinder gland nut on a John Deere 550G, or should it be replaced?

I'm in the middle of resealing the lift cylinders on my John Deere 550G and ran into something I'm not too happy about. On the left lift cylinder, I noticed the gland nut has a crack running from the outer threads toward the inside near the wiper seal bore. I attached photos because I’m curious how bad this actually looks to people who’ve dealt with hydraulic cylinder repairs before.
