Are zero-tail-swing excavators harder to work on?

I'm thinking about buying a 2005 Cat 325C zero-tail-swing excavator and was wondering how difficult they are to service. Is the engine compartment too cramped, or is routine maintenance still fairly straightforward? I'd appreciate any real-world experiences from owners or mechanics.
