Hi @Felipe Rances, start by checking for anything mechanically blocking the swing before digging into the hydraulics. After that, inspect the swing cylinder linkage and hoses for damage or binding.. it might save you a lot of unnecessary teardown.

It depends on the make and model, but most older machines are checked with the engine idling, transmission in neutral, and the oil at operating temperature. If you post the model and serial number, someone here should have the correct procedure.

Very true. We've gotten better at tracking idle time, but on a lot of jobsites it's still one of those hidden costs that quietly adds up. The biggest improvement I've seen is setting idle-time targets for operators so the data actually turns into action.
