It is also a very good practice to park the truck on a flat surface, drop the forks completely on the floor, engage the parking brake, place the control levers into neutral position, and turn off the ignition before leaving the truck. In case an operator needs to park on a ramp, he should do that only in case of an absolute necessity and chock the wheels in such a situation. We always tell the operators to park in appropriate places only, avoiding fire equipment, exits and walkways.
