Has anyone else experienced multiple hydraulic line failures on a Komatsu PC60-7?

I'm trying to learn more about recurring hydraulic line issues on the Komatsu PC60-7 and hoping to get insights from operators, mechanics, or anyone who's experienced this. Recently, I've had multiple hydraulic line failures on my unit, and I'm curious whether this is common or if there's something specific I should be looking out for.

Yeah, man, I feel you on that one. Hydraulic line issues can be super frustrating, especially when they keep coming back. I've seen a few guys deal with similar problems on smaller excavators like the PC60-7, and sometimes it's not just the hose quality; it can be things like rubbing points, loose clamps, too much vibration, or even pressure spikes if the relief valve isn't set right. Also, worth checking if the lines are routed properly or if they're getting pinched during boom or arm movement. Sometimes, a simple re-routing or adding extra protection like hose sleeves or better brackets can save you a lot of headaches.

You're doing the right thing, asking around and learning from others' experiences. These machines teach us the hard way sometimes.

I haven't personally owned a PC60-7, but I've worked around a couple of them on job sites. One thing I've seen cause repeated hydraulic line failures is hoses rubbing against the frame or not being secured properly with clamps. Over time the vibration can wear them down faster than expected. It might be worth checking the routing and protective sleeves on the lines.

I've also seen some good equipment discussions and listings on Boom & Bucket where operators share similar maintenance experiences. Curious to hear if anyone else running this machine has dealt with the same issue.

I've dealt with this on my PC60-7 too. Check for internal pump spikes or worn vibration dampeners. Standard aftermarket lines often fail early; switching to high-pressure braided hoses solved it.
