Looking for something stronger than my Lincoln 120V MIG. I love my AC/DC TIG welder from YesWelder so thinking about going back to them for a MIG. I mainly just do mild steel but I need some more amps than the 140 I've got.

Upgrading from your Lincoln 120V MIG to a more powerful YesWelder MIG sounds like a fantastic plan, especially since you already love their TIG welder. With more amps, you'll be able to handle thicker mild steel with ease. Plus, YesWelder's reputation for reliability means you can trust you're getting a solid machine. Can't wait to hear how much you enjoy the new setup!

Both the YesWelder MIG-205DS and the MIG-250PRO are solid options, but it really depends on what you need.

If you're looking for something lightweight and portable, the MIG-205DS is fantastic. It's perfect for smaller projects and easy to move around. On the other hand, if you want more power and plan to tackle thicker materials, the MIG-250PRO is the way to go. It offers more amps, which means you can work on bigger projects without any issues.

Consider what types of welding you'll be doing most often. If you think you'll need that extra power in the future, the MIG-250PRO might be worth the investment. Either way, you can't go wrong with YesWelder; they make reliable machines! :)

Get the 250PRO. You'll appreciate having the extra power on tap, and you won't find yourself wanting to upgrade again in a year.

By the way, what's the thickest stuff you're planning to weld? That'll really confirm if the 250 is the right move.

If I were in your boots, I'd go for the MIG-250PRO. The 250PRO usually has a better duty cycle. That means you can weld longer without the machine needing to take a "nap" to cool down. Do you know what I really love about YesWelder? It is their commitment to quality at an affordable price.
