Hey everyone, I'm curious-what's the biggest headache you deal with on a daily job site? Is it keeping track of crews, managing equipment, handling deliveries, or something else entirely? How do you usually tackle these challenges, and have any tools or strategies actually made your life easier...
i'm with Punchlister on that - radials are great for smoother rides and longer life, but if you're working in rocky or uneven areas, bias tires can take more abuse. you might also check out michelin's x grip line; they've been solid on mixed terrain.
Yep, that sagging is most likely from low hydraulic fluid - leaks will definitely cause that over time. Check the hydraulic reservoir dipstick or sight glass (depending on your model) with the boom and bucket lowered and the machine on level ground.
yeah, it usually comes down to the dealer-if you're upgrading with them, they're often willing to roll your old lease into the new deal, bute xpect some fees unless you're near the end of the term.
Hey, fork extensions are probably the most common add-on since they instantly boost reach and load handling, but i've seen a lot of crews swear by hydraulic winches and jib booms too-adds crane-like flexibility without needing extra equipment.
@ArchTech Yeah, we've used cement stabilization a few times with reclaimers-it works great on clay-heavy subgrades. Cuts down on rutting and gives the base solid strength. Definitely a good combo if the soil conditions are right.
we gave it a shot on a few rural jobs last year and it surprised us-in a good way.
less hauling, less material, and crews actually liked the workflow.
still watching how it holds up, but if the durability stays solid, I'm all in on it for bigger sites too.
