Upgrading Dump Trailer Tires for Better Off-Road Performance?

Hey folks,

I’m looking into upgrading the tires on my dump trailer to handle rougher off-road conditions like gravel, mud, and some uneven terrain.

Right now, I’m running standard highway tires, but they’re not cutting it once I leave paved roads.

Has anyone switched to all-terrain or off-road rated trailer tires? Any brands or specs you’d recommend for better grip and durability? Would love to hear what’s worked or hasn’t for your setup.

Im been thinking about doing the same....curious if anyone tried LT all-terrains on their dump trailers and how they hold up off-road?

Hey @Markmichael, definitely a smart move upgrading...standard highway tires just aren’t built for off-road abuse. I switched to Goodyear Endurance with reinforced sidewalls and way better tread, and it made a night-and-day difference on gravel and uneven sites. Just make sure the load rating matches your trailer’s weight. LT all-terrains can work, but heat buildup and wear are factors if you're hauling heavy loads long distances
