My Yale GLP030 was running rough on cold starts, so I cleaned some corrosion from the distributor cap and rotor. After putting everything back together, it now cranks but won't start and occasionally backfires.
I'm wondering if I may have mixed up a plug wire or have the firing order wrong. I believe the engine is a Mazda 2.0L/2.2L with a 4-3-1-2 firing order. Any ideas on what I should check first?
