I’m trying to clear up some confusion about excavator safety. Which of the following is not true when it comes to operating an excavator safely?

Are there any common misconceptions or mistakes that people make on the job? Would love to hear your insights!

Hey Luke, great question! One common mistake I’ve seen is folks thinking seatbelts aren’t necessary—totally false and super risky!

Good point @road_runner! I also heard people say its fine to swing the boom over people or vehicles...
definitely not true and a huge safety hazard.
