On a Gehl RS8-44 with a tri-function joystick and PWP, feathering the brake while moving can make the joystick lose pressure. It only returns when the brake is fully released or the machine stops. The declutch switch doesn't help, even with the wireless remote.
Likely causes: priority valve issue or brake/joystick hydraulic interaction. Checking the priority/relief valves and testing pressure under braking usually helps pinpoint the problem.
