Hey guys, trying to plan out a job on a Caterpillar 777C and looking for some real-world input. We've got a set of pre-cut wear liners ready to weld in, so the job should mostly be removing the old liners and installing the new ones.
Just trying to get a rough idea:
I know it probably depends on how worn or stuck the old liners are, but just looking for ballpark estimates from anyone who's done it before.
Just trying to get a rough idea:
- How many labor hours does this usually take?
- Is it typically a one-day job or longer, depending on the condition?
- Any tips to speed things up or things that usually slow it down?
