How high can forklifts lift?

I’m new here and trying to learn more about forklifts. I was wondering of how high can forklifts actually lift?

Does it depend on the type of forklift, or are there standard height limits? Would love to hear from those with experience!

Hey Bruce, welcome to the forum! Forklift lift heights definitely vary depending on the type, warehouse forklifts usually max out around 15-20 feet, but high-reach models and telehandlers can go 40 feet or more. Some specialized rough-terrain forklifts and container handlers can even go beyond that. It all comes down to the job and what you need to lift. Are you looking into a specific type for a project?
