Hey everyone,

I’m looking to add a new motor grader to the fleet and wanted to see what brands are performing best in 2025. Have you had good luck with Cat, Deere, or maybe a newer player on the market? Would love to hear what you’re running and why it’s your go-to machine.

Hey Ted, CAT still holds it down for a lot of folks in 2025—solid build, reliable hydraulics, and tech upgrades that actually help, like Grade Control. Deere’s been stepping up big too, especially with operator comfort and smooth controls. I’ve also heard some buzz about Komatsu’s newer models bringing serious value to the table. End of the day, it’s all about what fits your crew’s workflow best and who gives you the best dealer support in your area.

Thanks Luke, I'm leaning toward CAT for their reliability, but Deere's comfort and smooth handling are tempting-dealer support really tips the scale though.

When comparing motor grader brands in 2025, CAT and John Deere still lead. If you’re looking for a used motor grader, CAT offers strong durability, reliable hydraulics, and great resale value, ideal for heavy work. John Deere provides precise controls and operator comfort for finish grading. Volvo and Komatsu are efficient options but depend on regional support. Choose based on job type and dealer service to ensure long-term performance and reliability.

Nothing can beat CAT, Kubota, and John Deere! They are the most popular brands for construction and farming.
